I met Jackie when I took their maternity photos – 2 years ago!!

We got together on a GORGEOUS November afternoon – BUT – her little girl wanted NOTHING to do with me.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

I usually say – I WILL WIN – and I usually win!! But this girl – she was a tough one to crack!

I will STILL get the photos and they will STILL be beautiful and they will definitely capture the emotions!

REALLY REALLY not happy about this girl with the camera!!

We thought maybe a trip to the playground would lift her spirits – make it a little better!?

I didn’t get the smiles. BUT – she did let down her guard enough that she forgot I was there!

I love the crack in the sidewalk – how she’s squatting – her little bandaged finger – the concentration!

So when I tell you that I LOVE these pictures I want you to fully understand what a high compliment that is. I like art to tell a story so the fact that you were able to capture the story in these pictures means even more to me. I knew you wouldn’t disappoint. One of the reasons I love your work so much is because I always feel like it tells a story.
