I’ve known Tim since he was little! I used to work with his mom at Phoenix Rehab!

Another senior guy – making my job easy!!! Senior guys are usually pretty hard – but not this guy!

Their new WINDOW FILLED room was a PERFECT backdrop!!

And a cool mirror ALWAYS makes me happy!!

TIM!!! Seriously – thank you SO MUCH for making my job easy!!

WHATEVER YOU DO – make sure you love it and DO IT WELL!!

EMMA – CLASS OF 2022

Filed under: graduate, portraits, seniors — admin at 11:57 am on Thursday, February 24, 2022

Emma’s mom messaged me on FACEBOOK to set up a family session AND senior photos for her daughter!!

We met on a rainy morning so we found spots that worked in the rainy weather!

Thankfully it didn’t rain the WHOLE time so we were able to grab a few at some of my favorite spots in town!!

Emma brought her BFF with her too!!

EMMA!!! You are a DREAM to photograph!!

The rain started back up – so went to the LAUNDROMAT – which happens to be one of my FAVORITE places to shoot!!

PERFECTION!!

I LOVE THOSE SHOTS!

Those might be my FAVORITE shots from our session!! Sometimes the rain makes you think outside the box – and it’s a WIN!

WAIT – I LOVE those shots too!!

EMMA – thank you SO MUCH for spending the rainy morning with me!!

Whatever you decide to do – I hope you LOVE it and DO IT WELL!!

SAM – CLASS OF 2021

Filed under: graduate, portraits, seniors — admin at 12:07 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022

I took senior photos for Carolyn’s daughter Anna last fall and her daughter Naomi last winter (she graduates in 2022 but she really wanted snowy photos)!

This year – their son Sam is also graduating!

AND he made my job SUPER EASY!!

SERIOUSLY!! Senior guys are sometimes a challenge to photograph but Sam is a natural!!

SERIOUSLY!! He is SO photogenic!

Those MIGHT be my favorite!!

This isn’t a pose I would normally try with senior guys – but I am SO GLAD that I did!! I think they’re very striking!

Carolyn – THANK YOU for asking me to capture this time in your lives!

SAM – THANK YOU for being such a natural in front of the camera!

Whatever you decide to do in life – make sure you LOVE it!!

ELLA – CLASS OF 2022

Filed under: graduate, portraits, seniors — admin at 12:43 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022

I have been photographing Ella since she was SIX MONTHS OLD!

And THIS year – she’ll be graduating!!

She wanted a few shots in the snow – so I kept her on call for a snowy day!

Those shots MIGHT be my FAVORITE!!

GORGEOUS!!

But wait – THOSE might be my favorite too!!

ELLA!! Thank you so much for braving the cold! I LOVE these photos!!

BUT – she didn’t ONLY want snowy photos – so we waited for summer too!

Her mom told me she HAD to get a shot of us together – because I’ve been capturing almost her entire life!!

That shot on the left was my favorite for a VERY long time – and it still is!! It wasn’t posed – just a perfect moment in time and it opened my eyes even more to capturing life as it is without forcing anything. My friend Mike made a GIANT cloth portrait from that print and I gave it to Ella years ago. Seeing these two photos side-by-side reminds me that I’m living out my dream job!!

BRAVING THE SNOW & THE CHILLY CREEK WATER – Ella – you’re my favorite!!

Ella – I am so happy that I’ve been able to watch you grow up!!

Whatever you decide to do in life – make sure you love it. Find that thing to do and do it well!!
