Tara messaged me over the summer about scheduling her son’s senior photos in the fall!!

Like I said earlier – fall in PA is the most popular time for photo sessions!!

Tara & Jared kinda grew up together & her mom was Jared’s 1st grade teacher AND Fitzy’s 1st grade teacher!!

I LOVE those shots!!

Trying ti get that basketball shot – a little harder than we thought it would be!

I LOVE those shots too!!

I almost always say – we’re DONE!! Then I see something else & say – NEVER MIND – ONE MORE!!

Tara & Justin – thank you SO much for asking me to spend the afternoon with you!!

Justin – whatever you decide to do – make sure you DO IT WELL!!

*M* FAMILY

For a few years – I saw Julie & her family every year for fall photos!!

It’s been quite a while since they’ve been in front of my lens – so long that her littles (who are not so little) didn’t remember me!!

GORGEOUS!!

Because I couldn’t pick between color & black & white – you get to see both!!

Typically I only schedule sessions within the hour &a half before sunset or early early in the morning – but we had already rescheduled once because of rain & the next day we were both free was NOT looking good either. So we met at Hills Creek around 330 & hoped for the best!!

I LOVE THAT SHOT!!! I will always pick the real-life shots over the everyone-looking-at-the-camera-with-a-forced-smile shot!

That little girl – she was SO little the last time I saw them!

Natasha is a SENIOR this year – so we took a few shots for her senior photos!!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!

Julie REALLY wanted pine trees!!

JULIE!! It was SO great to see you again!!! THANK YOU so much for asking me to hang out with you guys this year!!

I LOVE THOSE SHOTS!!

These mommas with their boys – all grown up – WAY TOO FAST!!

Kyle & Stacy – THANK YOU SO MUCH for meeting me early in the morning!! I LOVED working with you!

KYLE – whatever you decide to do – make sure you DO IT WELL!!

I’ve been taking photos of Dusty and her family for several years now!

At least since this guy was still a “kid” and shorter than me!!

So – my best friend Missy is married to Cody – and Jake’s mom is Cody’s cousin who is actually more like a sister. Did you follow that!?

We were spending the day with Missy & Cody at Stony Fork campground and Dusty said that would work wonderfully!

He made me job WAY TOO EASY!!

Then we took a little hike down to one of the most GORGEOUS spots I’ve ever seen!

Dusty really really wanted a photo of him holding that photo – when he was just a little guy!! TOO SWEET!!

Stay tuned for the REST of his session!!

We were waiting for Amy to come out with the crowd of people – but we had to go in and FIND her! And I am SO GLAD we did!!

It’s been an emotional year – to say the least – and the tears flowed!!

AMY!! Thank you SO MUCH for asking me along to capture these AMAZING moments in your life!!

And Allison – whatever you do – make sure you LOVE it!!

I met Amy last year when she asked me to take senior pictures for her daughter and her friends – do you remember the BREAKFAST CLUB session!?

Well – a year has passed already – and they’re graduating!

Amy asked me to come to graduation and photograph her daughter and their group of friends!

As I was sitting in the stands – looking at the program – I realized that I graduated high school 20 years ago that week.

And I had written a letter to my grandmother about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic (I had no interest in photographing people)!!

Not only was I sitting in a gymnasium full of kids exactly where I was 20 years ago – but I was also hired to take their photos! SURREAL!!

Stay tuned for the rest of graduation!!

LIZ – CLASS OF 2019

Filed under: portraits, seniors — admin at 12:14 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018

That sweet pup! We had to bring her out for a few more shots!

I mean – THAT LIGHT! SO AMAZING!

We saved the BEST for last!!

Liz is a Doctor Who fan – so much so – that she brought the NEW Doctor’s outfit WITH her for senior photos!

This property – it’s got EVERYTHING!

“Right now, I’m a stranger to myself. There’s echoes of who I was and a sort of call towards who I am.

And I have to hold my nerve and trust all these new instincts. Shape myself towards them. I’ll be fine. In the end. Hopefully. I have to be.”

The Doctor

I won’t pretend to be a photoshop master – not even close! BUT – that sky is 100% REAL in that exact moment – and the TARDIS – that was added in. Or was it!?

EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE PHOTOS – my dream location!

Little alien creatures – see – that TARDIS isn’t photoshopped!

LIZ!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for asking me to spend the evening with you! Maybe I’ll see you next year when we make our annual REN FAIRE trip!!
