I met Jackie when I took their maternity photos – 2 years ago!!

We got together on a GORGEOUS November afternoon – BUT – her little girl wanted NOTHING to do with me.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

I usually say – I WILL WIN – and I usually win!! But this girl – she was a tough one to crack!

I will STILL get the photos and they will STILL be beautiful and they will definitely capture the emotions!

REALLY REALLY not happy about this girl with the camera!!

I LOVE THOSE!!!

We thought maybe a trip to the playground would lift her spirits – make it a little better!?

She still wanted me FAR away – but I LOVE THIS SHOT SO MUCH!!

AHHH!!! THOSE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITES!!

I was a stealthy ninja – and got a couple of smiles!?

MAYBE going to Gramma’s house will help!?

I didn’t get the smiles. BUT – she did let down her guard enough that she forgot I was there!

She spilled the bird feed and picked it up.

I love the crack in the sidewalk – how she’s squatting – her little bandaged finger – the concentration!

EVERYTHING!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!

AND MAYBE EVEN BETTER IN BLACK & WHITE!?

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING THE MOST!!!

Everyday moments that seem insignificant – but they are what our days are made of.

Jackie & Dane – thank you SO MUCH for trying ALL the things to make your little one happy for photos!!
