HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY SCHRUTE! Actually his birthday was yesterday – but he is just a doggie!

We love him!

He turned a YEAR old on the 24th of November!

I am so happy that we got Schrute!

It has been so nice to come home to him and know that he is truly excited to see us! We love him!

He will be a year old on the 24th of this month!

I know that he’s just a puppy, but God brought him into our lives for such a time as this!

Schrute – what can I say about him? He drives me nuts – like this morning when he couldn’t wait for me to get done going to the bathroom so he decided to UNLEASH in the living room – creating an OCEAN! LOVELY!

But – I love him dearly! He has kept me sane the past 6 months!

This is his new favorite place to be!

Last week we got the family together to take some pictures before Gramma & Grampa Clark go back to Florida.

We took some pictures with Schrute too!

I haven’t gotten the chance to take any new pictures of Schrute lately – but I do have a new picture of his mom from the breeders!

They have a new litter with a few puppies still left and another new litter due in August!

Schrute and his mama look so much alike!

Last night I took Schrute out for his nightly “going out” when he spotted a rabbit and there I was being pulled across the lawn. The pulling stopped quite abruptly when I went into a split. I hurt my ankle and REALLY REALLY pulled my quad! I went down to Amy’s so she could “doctor” me up – she says it is going to get worse before it gets better – luckily the only thing that really hurts is flexing that muscle. OUCH!

On a happier note – here are some photos of Schrute while we were at my parents at the beginning of the month.

He didn’t know what to think of my brother – he LOVED playing with him but wasn’t up for cuddling.

Derek was the best man in the *R* wedding and I was the photographer – so we all had to leave Schrute for about 4 hours. The crate wouldn’t fit in the car so we had to put him in the bathroom at my parents house. They are starting to remodel the bathroom and the kitchen. Schrute must have overheard them talking about it – ‘cus he gave them an early start.

I keep watching out for the new litter from his breeders – they are due June 26th!

You have to know that I am NOT – I repeat – am NOT a crazy dog person.

We didn’t have a party – we didn’t get gifts – we didn’t sing – but I wanted to take a few pictures of Schrute on his 6 month birthday.

At 6 months old (as of yesterday) he is weighing 75 lbs.

He knows sit, stay, down, up, come, and high five. He knows the words eat, drink, outside, walk, over, grandma and grandpa, leash, toy, and we are working on off – when it comes to the bed!

Schrute and I usually go for a walk every day – today I took my camera!

We took Schrute with us to the game Monday night – he was a thirsty boy!

He does well with the kids – but he is still a little shy and just wants to play – the poor thing – he is going to be a giant puppy!
