*H* was a bridesmaid in my early September wedding and I gave her my business card on a whim – so excited that she pursued it and booked me for her wedding.
Such a beautiful dress.
*H* and *M* have a sweet little son *K* – I love tots in tuxedos!
What a cutie this little guy was!

My dear friend joined me on Saturday to photograph a wedding in Wellsboro. I wish the weather had been a titch warmer to take advantage of the gaslights and the courthouse.
*H* and *M* had a wonderful ceremony and a great day. *H* was a beautiful bride and *M* a handsome groom.
Jenna shooting me at “work” – I don’t consider this working – ‘cus I love it so much.
The bride and her brother.
Again – having fun at work.
Thanks Jenna – I had a blast with you and you caught some great shots – you were a WONDERFUL help to have with me.
Marry me?
For the complete engagement album – http://bardenphotography.shutterfly.com under *M* – you can find my shots along with those that PM caught.
PM has a good friend *M* who recently got engaged. He is heading off for training with the Army tonight – if he isn’t on his way already. On Monday he proposed to *T* and had already set up engagement pictures with me for Tuesday afternoon at Penn State – where they both attend college. PM went with me and took my second camera – she is getting really good. We left at 2 for the shoot time of 4 – we knew that Sarah Palin would be in State College that night speaking at 8 – but the parking was already packed. We had to park in one of the parking garages where I made the mistake of just thinking I could drive right in after *M* since I was in the guest lane – I know it sounds lame – but I really don’t drive all that much – I HATE it – and avoid it at all costs. Then I got twisted around in the parking garage and ended up backing up over a curb and ripping the mud flap off Pam (the Stratus) **side note – the Jeep is named Chuck after our favorite female role on TV then the Stratus is Pam after our second favorite** and looking like a giant weirdo. *M* wanted to take pictures next to the shrine – which I didn’t know what it was – I know – again – how lame of me.
Here are some of my favorite shots from PM –
I love that she can get some money shots that I miss – she knows right where to be.
Totally PM’s idea – I love this shot – the flags – the darkness – LOVELY. This was one of the last shots of the session – *M* and *T* treated us to wings and burgers at her apartment and then we headed out back to Mansfield. We left PSU at 8 and got home about 10 – long night – but it was fun. PM and I had good conversation and kept each other company – and we had a great shoot – and a wedding booking!
Here are some of my faves –
Thanks again *M* and *T* – can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year.
PM – thanks for driving along with me – I appreciate it!
Marry me?
Last Saturday I had a session with *B* and *J*. *B* attends my church and I have her two oldest kids in PK on Wednesday nights. *B* and *J* reconnected after high school and are getting married June 12th next year. We had a early morning shoot – 32 degrees – until the last few shots when the fog cleared.
My LOVE sign broke after my last session – and I was going to glue it back together – but I lost it and can’t find a new one ANYWHERE.
My FAITH sign works out well – especially with *J* and *B*.
Thanks *J* and *B* for the chance to photograph you – and for sticking out the freezing temps. Can’t wait for your wedding in June.
Marry me …
This weekend I had an engagement shoot – with a couple whose wedding I am shooting in July. I took their e-pics on 10.11 and their wedding is on 7.11 – I am a sucker for matching dates. *M* and *M* – you guys were up for it all – thank you – I had SO much fun and can’t wait till July to shoot your wedding. Thanks for lunch – it was great getting to know you more.
That last image is my favorite from the day – again THANK YOU *M* and *M*.

This past weekend we went to Merritt Estate Winery for a dear friend’s wedding. Sara and I met in college at CCC in 2001 – I think – I am so bad with dates like those. Sara and I have the same sense of humor – thank goodness – ‘cus not many people do. Sara was a bridesmaid in my wedding.
Sara’s wedding is the first wedding in nearly 3 years (again – I think) that I have been to without being the photographer. I had to take my camera – of course. I had a great time just celebrating their wedding and not having an agenda.
Sara and Pete – thank you for asking me to be a part of your day. The scriptures you asked me to read were beautiful. I pray that you have love and happiness together – ALWAYS.
She looked gorgeous.
That picture is one of my new favorites.
Josh and his girlfriend Dana. Josh is also a friend from college.
Sara’s wedding was so much fun – Josh – you’re next!
