Lyndsay and I went to high school together and connected again on FACEBOOK! Last year she gifted her parents with a photo session and we waited till he little guy could join in!

*B* and Jared went to high school together. I worked for her dad straight out of college as a secretary. When we met – we hit it off right away!
My sister and I went to visit *B* and her ever expanding family in April – such sweeties!!
*R* – she is such a little momma – just like I was!
*M* on the left – she is a crazy spirit – just like my sister – and *B* herself – which is why my sister and *B* hit it off even better than we did!
The twins were born mega early but are doing so awesome!

Julie and her family were nominated by Amy in the BEAUTIFUL contest this year!
They recently adopted *J* and Amy wanted Julie to be able to enjoy a photo session with her NEW family!
PERFECTION! Adoption is such a beautiful – amazing – wondrous gift! It’s amazing when you think that God KNEW that *J* would be with Julie and her family – long before any of them knew it!

I took photos of these CUTIES before Christmas and couldn’t wait to see them for their birthdays in the spring!

I love LOVE LOVE this family! I’ve known Nicole for almost TWO years – craziness. She and Dustin have become more than clients to me – truly good friends!
One of the reasons I love Nicole so much shows in this photo session!
Dustin has a little girl that is a bit older than Nicole and Dustin’s son *E* – and Nicole wanted pictures of the two of them together! I think it’s beautiful and awesome for Nicole to set this up and encourage a relationship between the two of them – when so many spouses wouldn’t.
She is GORGEOUS!

At the end of our session – *E* took a little tumble down the stairs – scraping his face. Terrifying his mother and kicking in her supermom speed!
Poor little guy! And to think – this is what I have to look forward to – the fearlessness of boys! Ahhh!

I don’t know how often I can say it – but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my . babies . babies . babies . clients! I get to see them at pregnancy then cuddle that little newborn bundle and watch them grow throughout their first year! It’s THE BEST!
Little *E* is SUCH a cutie! She is so chubby – I can’t even stand it!
I met the *I* family through this little guy’s mom – *E*’s aunt! We had to get a shot of the cousins!

He is such a cute little guy and is getting SO big!
It’s an absolute miracle that I have him in front of my lens. This little guy has been through more than most of us will go through in a lifetime – having several surgeries on his little heart!

So the “contest” got off to a pretty slow start – then it totally overshot my expectations!
Here’s the thing – I never wanted to be a photographer for the money – sure – I needed to make money to make it work and quit my secretary job – but it was never because of money.
God has blessed me – us – immensely in this beautiful journey! The moment I stop giving back that blessing is the moment I need to stop doing this “job” –
ANYWAY –
This one was a tough one – I read through them and then through them again – and then again – narrowing it down to 3 winners – not the normal 2!
Before I announce the winners I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that submitted a family for the contest. I loved reading all your entries and have been blessed because of it!
