10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

That is the “verse” we have chosen for Fitzgerald as his life verse!

We are so excited to raise this little baby with God’s direction!

My sons were both born in early May, a wonderful time of year. I’m guessing May 9th, the birthday of my firstborn son, and 6:01 am, the time my secondborn son came into the world.
I’ll average their weights and guess Fitzy will be 9 lb. 1 oz.

humm I’m going to say April 25th at 3:58am weighing in at 7 lbs 12 ozs and 20 inches long… for no apparent reason just a guess… lol 🙂

and by the way I LOVE the quote you chose for Fitzy and just might have to use it for my little one on the way… It is so true and such a good reminder of our faith and keeping faith in the Lord. The doctors said I would have a hard time conceiving due to different medical problems… Since I found that out almost two years ago I kept praying that the doctors were wrong and when it was time the Lord would give me a little boy or girl to bless my life. Now here I am at 7 weeks and at the very begining of a very scary time as I’m high risk. I just keep praying that everything will be fine and the Lord wouldn’t have giving me this chance if it wasn’t time. That the auto-immune issues won’t affect my baby and the Lord will protect me. This is an amazing quote and I’ve read it a few times since you posted it and it gives me strength. Thank you for posting it. *hugs*

I say that little Fitzy will come into this world on April 30th…around about 3 a.m. And, I’m guessing he will be 8 lbs. 14 oz. and about 20 inches long. I think he will have dark hair and brown eyes. And…I can’t wait to meet him.
