On Saturday I had a bridal shower to attend!

My dear friend KT is getting married in July!

KT lived with us for her student teaching semester in the fall of 2007 – I think – I lose track of time so easily anymore.

KT and I met through a mutual friend while she was in college – I think I have known her for about 5 years now!

KT has second shot with me on a couple weddings and will probably do more! She is a driven, smart, devoted woman who I am glad to call my friend.

She is getting married on July 18th – we will go to the rehearsal on Friday night and stay the night with her grandma Friday night and then go to the Inn where the wedding is (which is GORGEOUS) in the morning to take tons of pictures! KT knows just what she wants with pictures and knows that I am loving the extra time and attention that I can take with her wedding! The wedding is a small, family affair at 1 in the afternoon and then we are all staying the night at the Inn Saturday night.

I am looking forward to this wedding so much!

KT – I love you dearly and appreciate your friendship!

You have to know that I am NOT – I repeat – am NOT a crazy dog person.

We didn’t have a party – we didn’t get gifts – we didn’t sing – but I wanted to take a few pictures of Schrute on his 6 month birthday.

At 6 months old (as of yesterday) he is weighing 75 lbs.

He knows sit, stay, down, up, come, and high five. He knows the words eat, drink, outside, walk, over, grandma and grandpa, leash, toy, and we are working on off – when it comes to the bed!

I met Heather and Josh at the BRIDAL EXPO in January. We stayed in touch through the monthly e-mails I send out to remind couples of our specials and open dates.

Heather and Josh are the perfect clients – they come to the table prepared. They knew exactly what the wanted and didn’t want in an engagement session and on their wedding day. We met a few months ago to discuss their wants and create a custom package just for them!

We scheduled their engagement shoot for May 24th – thinking it would take forever to get here – yet here we are!

We met on Market Street in Corning – the same location as my engagement shoot last weekend – and started the shoot on the bridge – which was much less windy this time!

Schrute and I usually go for a walk every day – today I took my camera!

I didn’t get to watch AI last night because I was working at the polls from 6 AM to 10 PM – but I watched Adam “perform” his first song this morning before the power went out.

I think Adam has dirt on ALL the judges – it is the only way to explain the major sucking up on their parts.

I don’t even need to hear Kris – although Jared said he was amazing!

Kris is going to win – or I fear I may not watch any longer …

I have been using Tyler and Julie as my spokespeople since their wedding in August – I can’t thank them enough for being so beautiful and helping me book at least 12 of my other weddings in some way – whether word of mouth or their photos.
