Shutterfly changed their website and I can’t figure out how to save the pictures off the site to post to my blog. I also can’t figure out how to make them smaller from my camera directly. So – I have LOTS of new pictures – but I can’t get them up.

Also, if you are new to the website – make sure to check out all old blog entries – I tend to upload pics in the blog instead of the gallery. When I have a large block of time – I will tackle the gallery additions.

This week is a busy one. My cousins – 10 and 11 are coming tonight to spend the week with us – Mega Sports Camp at CNC this week. Jared and I are the soccer coaches – 5.30 to 9 each night this week. Tuesday afternoon I have off work so I will prolly spend it at the pool with Vanessa and Zach. Saturday I have a wedding in Athens – that my Aunt L is going to assist me with (thanks Aunt L for the assist and Amy for letting me borrow her camera – which is a twin to mine). Sunday we have to be back in Mansfield for Church – Children’s Sunday. Monday I have an appt. in King of Prussia for my jaw – unless I can get in with the guy in North Umberland – then I will go there. Then it’s pretty much free and clear till July 8th – when I have a family photo shoot in my backyard. On the 19th of July we leave with the in-laws for the beach for a WEEK. August is insane. I have three weddings, a graduation party, a church picnic, and seeing Trudy in Virginia for 3 days and 2 on the train. I have two weddings in September and then the Renaissance Faire. October brings Sara and Pete’s wedding and hopefully The Office convention. There I go again – planning my life away. Hopefully by the end of that insanity we will be working toward expanding our family.

ER.

Again, congrats to Matt and Johna on their sweet baby girl. We went to see her Monday night. Amy and Jim took me over and Jared met us there after work. We walked into the hospital, where Jared pointed out that “hospital smell”. We all filed into the room – which isn’t that big to begin with – asking how mom, dad, and baby were.

*Small side note – Amy has three children (two of which being twins) so she’s been through the whole childbirth experience.

Johna had a pretty rough delivery – she had a trip to the OR after the baby was born – and was getting a blood transfusion as we spoke. She wasn’t grim in her explanation of the birth and surgery – but grim enough (must be) that one of us couldn’t handle it.

Jared asked me if there was a water fountain. I told him – in the hallway probably. The next thing I hear is – Danielle (not in a good tone). I went out to the hall and looked at Jared – who did not look so good. I asked him if he was okay to which he responded — NO. And then he started to collapse – I was already holding onto his hands and lowered him to the floor. The nurse came over and asked what happened. I told her that he must have passed out. Jared could hardly manage to form a few words and just kept shaking his head. She took his blood pressure and heartbeat which were about 110/50 and 48 – not good for Jared. Amy came out to see what was going on – WHOA – is he okay? Nope, guess not – he was as green as could be and so faint and weak. The nurse got him a wet washcloth for his head and told the other nurses to call the ER – just to be sure. So – there he laid in the hallway in the maternity ward of the hospital – and his wife wasn’t even the one having the baby. When his blood pressure and heart rate were back to normal and I could see the color coming back to his face – the stretcher got there. Matt had come out to make sure I could hold the babe a minute before I was off with Jared to check him in. I stayed pretty calm, cool, and collected – which was surprising.

The nurse helping me at the ER desk told her clerk that I had a friend that passed out on the maternity floor – I said – that’s my husband. She said – WHAT – you were way too nice to him for that to be your husband. ;). So the doctor checked him over – asked for his history – has this happened before – are you feeling okay – the general. While he rested up with some apple juice – I ran back up to see Matt, Johna, and the babe. I held her and took a few pictures – told Matt and Johna the prognosis – awed over the baby a little more and then it was off to get Jared.

When Jared was still on the floor – the nurse asked him if he knew who he was – JARED. Where are you – HOSPITAL. Who is that next to you – DANIELLE. How are you feeling – EMBARRASSED.

Yesterday he stayed home ‘cus he was still a little wonky – and I stayed home in the morning just to make sure he was okay – and because he stays home with me when I don’t feel well and takes care of me.

I have always been concerned about who would be in the delivery room with me – Jared, mom, mom-in-law, my sister – now I don’t have to worry about Jared. He always told me that he wouldn’t be able to be watching – but by my head supporting – now I don’t even know about that. ;).

My dear friends had their baby girl on 6.9.2008.

I didn’t want to use the flash and wake her up. She is so precious and sweet. Good job mom and dad.

We had more than just baby excitement at the hospital – but you’ll have to tune in later for those details.

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your Holy presence
Living in me

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word
Spoken to me

And I … I’m desparate for You
And I … I’m lost without You
This is air I breathe
This is air I breathe
Your Holy presence
Living in me

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word
Spoken to me

And I … I’m desparate for You
And I … I’m lost without You
And I … I’m desparate for You
And I … I’m lost without You

And I … I’m desparate for You
And I … I’m lost without You
I’m lost without You
I’m lost without You
I’m lost without You
I’m lost without You

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe

God – this is my prayer. This song chokes me up every time I hear it. Last night I had a breakdown moment in regard to my jaw. I cried and cried and cried some more after work. I am so tired. I am so frustrated. I am so discouraged. I know that God keeps promises. I know that I am His child. I know that He loves me. I cried and told Jared my thoughts, my fears, my doubts, my feelings. We prayed, we cried out to God.

We had PowerKidz last night and after our usual prayer time the kids asked how my jaw was – which resorted me to tears again (and again as I sit here and type this). They all laid their little hands on me and cried out to God with Jared and I. Their passion and love and innocence moved me. They are all so dear to me and their faith – so believing – inspires me.

As I sat with them last night believing for healing – I sit here today still in pain – still believing.

Thanks PK – you guys mean more to me than you know.

The last little league game – that we can make it to – was Sunday. I took 200 pictures for some odd reason – usually I only take about 75. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
