PART TWO!!
LOVING the feel of this lodge!
THOSE SHOES!!
FIRST LOOKS! I love first looks!
The ceremony is next!!
Earlier this year I got an email from Claire. She was marrying Charlie in a very small ceremony in September – a destination wedding!
They live down-state and were getting married in Wellsboro at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon! We chatted on the phone and booked the date!
I met Claire & Charlie in August – I couldn’t find anyone to watch the boys – so they came to my house – with the boys running around in a NERF war – with no shirts!
Claire texted me a photo after our meeting – a handful of NERF darts in her purse! Enoch had put them in there – on purpose – a present!
They were so awesome and they LOVED the boys!
The weather here in PA is unpredictable – to say the least!
My wedding just ONE week before this was HOT & HUMID. This weekend – a true fall feel – chilly & cool!
This little sweetie – she was ADORABLE!
Do you see what I see in this photo – they are NOT photos of the flower girl – although she is a wonderful addition!
It was a PERFECT venue for an intimate wedding!
YUM YUM YUM! Red Skillet catered the wedding – and it was DIVINE!
LOVE THOSE SHOTS!
OH! AND THOSE SHOTS!!
Claire & Charlie told me that their nephews & niece are VERY dear to them – so I made sure to get LOTS of shots with them!
HEART BREAKER!!
It was a BEAUTIFUL day – so I’ve got three more posts – stay tuned!
If you happened to look back on those wedding photos from SEVEN years ago – you might not recognize this face as that little baby!
SUCH A SWEET MOMENT!
Those mother-son dances – GET ME EVERY TIME!
And when the groom dances with his mom & his step-mom – THE BEST!
This is what I’m best at – capturing THE moments you would otherwise overlook and forget!
BEST FRIENDS!
Sometimes the visions in my head work – this time – it was worth it!
You know what I’m going to say – ALWAYS leave the reception for a little bit – you WILL NOT regret it!
Chelsea & Patrick – THANK YOU SO MUCH for asking me to spend the day with you!
THANK YOU for holding onto my name for the past SEVEN years! I hope to see you again soon!!
Cris & Traci – the wedding I shot SEVEN years ago – and I found the blog post of their wedding – HERE!
SERIOUSLY – SO MUCH FUN!
I can’t EVEN – I LOVE that last shot!!
If you’re looking for a local-ish wedding venue – THIS IS THE PLACE!!
ONE MORE POST!!
We left off with Chelsea & her finishing touches!
JUST IN TIME TO SEE HER DAD!
AND CRY ALL THE TEARS!
She wasn’t emotional until I asked them to look at each other!
GORGEOUS!!
Grooms that cry – one of my favorite things!
HUSBAND & WIFE!!
A baby? At a wedding? A cute baby at a wedding? OH NO! I’m not sure how many I took!!
TWO more installments to come!!
I got an email in the spring about a wedding in September. Chelsea wrote to me like she knew me – but I wasn’t making the connection with just a name!
When I got to Herman & Luther’s on their wedding day – Chelsea’s mom was outside – and was SO excited to see me. And I couldn’t hide it anymore – how DID I know her?
I took her son’s wedding photos SEVEN years ago! NOW I remembered who the bride was!
A STONE BARN? SIGN ME UP!!
GORGEOUS DETAILS!!
You know what I love? EVERYTHING ALL IN ONE PLACE! A venue for getting ready – a BEAUTIFUL venue for getting ready AND getting married AND having the party!
And bridesmaids that wear your fiance’s face on her shirt!
AND GIGANTIC MIRRORS!!
AND bridal parties that treat you like a long-lost dear friend.
Brides that aren’t afraid to SMILE – I love that too!
I brought an assistant with me – a student from NCA – so he spent the afternoon with the guys! I’ll show you his shots later!
Those last two shots – some of my FAVORITES!
Getting ready photos – some of my favorite moments!
A great maid of honor – fantastic bridesmaids – the icing on a PERFECT wedding day!
Again – I have a problem with TOO MANY pictures – so stay tuned for the next THREE installments!
I love being part of the family with you WONDERFUL people!
Lauren & Dan asked me to photograph their pregnancy with their oldest YEARS ago – and I’ve been back for ALL the babies after that!
SISTERS – the middle two!
The oldest and the youngest – BROTHERS!!
EVERYONE wanted to hold the baby!
LOVE LOVE LOVE those shots!
That sweet girl – she is NOT the baby anymore!
LOOK AT THAT SWEET BOY – he only has eyes for his momma!
Those sweet babies – VERY RARELY do I get sleepy babies!!
Lauren & Dan – THANK YOU for asking me to capture ALL the moments over the years!!
I’ve been photographing Rochelle and her family for about SEVEN years!
This year we met at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon! I got there a little earlier than they did – and took advantage!
Those sweet moments! MY FAVORITE!!
Those silly pictures – ALSO my favorite!!
Watching this family grow up from behind my lens – ALSO MY FAVORITE!!
THANK YOU!!
Another summer – gone.
Thankfully – while it was happening it wasn’t quickly. We had a full & lovely summer!
But – like all great things – it must come to an end.
Enoch went to preschool ONE day a week starting in March – and he LOVED it! But NOW – it’s official!
He goes three days a week and spends two with me.
SIDE NOTE – those feelings he had toward me. Pretty much gone. He grew out of all his shoes almost overnight and ate EVERY THING IN THE HOUSE.
He’s still having a hard time with getting what he wants when he wants it – but – aren’t we all? He still thinks I’m a mean mom sometimes. He still gets angry. He still argues. But he’s not SEETHING MAD every time he looks at me. So – that’s a win.
He wasn’t in the mood to fill out a survey – which is why his favorite movie is DOG MOVIE and he wants to be whatever his brother wants to be AND a farmer.
Fitzy was a little nervous about second grade – but is REALLY LOVING it so far!
They wanted to pick out their own clothes. AND E wanted to GO. LET’S GO MOM!
And while I couldn’t get them in the same spot as last year – you can see the CRAZY difference just ONE year made – especially for that Enoch guy!
The first day of school – and into the second week – it’s all been GREAT!
And for the first time in SEVEN YEARS – I can edit & work & answer emails & blog for HOURS at a time – two days a week!
It’s GLORIOUS!
And on that second day of school – Enoch and I went up to the house that Matt is building – for some updated pictures – and mountain climbing!
How is the first week of school going for YOUR family?!
UGH! He just can’t be GROWN UP already!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
“A great marriage doesn’t happen because of the love you had in the beginning but how well you continue building love until the end.”
I know Missy isn’t going to LOVE that I threw these next pictures in for all of you to see – BUT – I SEE REAL JOY & HAPPINESS!!
HAPPINESS THAT OVERFLOWS!!
Missy & Cody – I LOVE YOU GUYS SO VERY MUCH!!
