Earlier this year Maddy asked if I was available for her September wedding – YES!!

I got to the house an HOUR early! I think all weddings should happen first thing in the morning!

An absolutely GORGEOUS dress!!

When I put the directions in – I realized that I’d been at the house before – WIN! It’s always nice when I already know the layout!

It was a WARM September wedding!!

I hadn’t met Maddy or Jake – that is – until I got to the cabin and realized who they were!

Maddy was in Megan’s wedding – and I photographed her then!! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t made the connection earlier!

I held silhouette mini mini mini sessions – FIVE minutes near sunset for silhouette sessions!

ONE person scheduled. But I LOVE silhouette sessions – so I texted my friends and told them to come up – since they were kidless that night!

Ericka & I met a LONG time ago!! Her daughter will be TEN this month – TEN!!! I can’t even believe it!?

When said daughter was just a little tot – I took her her photos. I brought my sister with me to watch Fitzy.

As fate would have it – Ericka & my sister are now really great friends!!

Ericka is a single mom – and can I tell you – it’s HARD. I don’t know know from experience. But man – it’s hard.

And she is getting up every day and loving her girls. She is awesome. Amazing. Strong.
