You might recognize Kylie! She’s one of the BREAKFAST CLUB seniors!

We scheduled the other half of their session for the last Sunday in June BUT the weather forecast was NOT good. RAIN & THUNDERSTORMS all evening. And since senior pictures also means hair appointments and make-up – we had to call it the night before. AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A BEAUTIFUL EVENING.

So we rescheduled again – and it called for rain and thunderstorms AGAIN. So – we called it the night before – again.

BUT the day of the session – the weather was gorgeous and looked to be good in the evening – SO – I texted with Amy – the AWESOME mom that set up these photos for her daughter and her friends – and said – I’m still in if you want to do this tonight!

The boys had taken shifts at work – but the girls – minus one – were IN! AND she added another senior to the mix!

SO – we started at 6 and I walked in my house at 9! DID I MENTION I LOVE THIS JOB!?!?

Kylie is a DREAM to photograph!

I got a new lens! I didn’t have any sessions immediately after I got it – SO – I took a few of my Enoch guy!

He’s such a sweet and spirited boy. Right now – his new favorite thing to say to me is – can I help you my queen? Can I help you my beauty?

But he also loves to say – don’t even talk to me right now mom – you are being naughty. So – it evens out!

Martha emailed me after seeing Melissa & Spencer’s wedding photos!

We had originally scheduled a session for early in the year – but decided to wait until her little one was a year old!

While it would have been a fun session – I’m so happy we waited until July to schedule their photos!

AND I got to use my new lens! WIN WIN WIN!

This little guy warmed right up to me!

Having a dinosaur on my car really helps with making me the cool photographer – when dealing with toddler boys!

Those moments were so sweet – I had to keep them!

I met Sarah when I was a teenager and she was just a curly-headed toddler – at our church!

AND NOW – SHE’S MARRIED!!

Sarah had ONE image that she sent me – THIS ring shot! SUCH a great idea!

I don’t usually spend time with the guys while they are getting ready – but I’m glad it worked out!!

They both wrote letters – not many of my couples do that!

This sweet little girl wasn’t so sure about her BIG duties as a flower girl – but she warmed up to the idea!

I took their wedding photos last June – one of my FAVORITE weddings thus far!

We scheduled our session for a Sunday evening in a gorgeous spot right around sunset. BUT. It rained – all day.

The rain stopped around 4 so we moved the session up to 5 and changed the location since the clouds were covering lots of our light!
