My friend Ashley had a FANTASTIC idea – have a Galentine’s Day get-together!

For those of you that don’t know – Galentines’s Day is from Parks & Recreation – and it’s a FANTASTIC notion!

The day before Valentine’s Day – getting together and celebrating your girlfriends – with breakfast and bacon – and little gifties!

On the show – Leslie says crazy wonderful things to her best friend Ann – so I made a personalized card for each gal!

Leslie makes mosaic portraits out of soda bottles for each of her friends – BUT I’m not THAT talented! But – I just might try next year!

I made portraits for each of my friends – and a ridiculously huge keychain!

Leslie writes a 5,000 word essay about each gal – I made a little booklet documenting what I admire about each woman!

Ashley wasn’t able to make it – friend duties came up and good friends listen to their heart!

I almost kept that tardis!

The cup of coffee turned out AWESOME!

My Aunt L – she loves to write – so hers was a blank piece of paper!

Mara – she loves music!

Becca – that is supposed to be a paint brush keychain!

Sarah wasn’t able to make it to our Galentine’s breakfast – which just meant MORE BREAKFAST DATES!

Shalane wasn’t able to make it either – but no worries – we made YET ANOTHER breakfast date – which I LOVE!

And she gave me a BEAUTIFUL bracelet – inscribed with – ovaries b4 brovaries!

I felt like the fans of Parks & Rec would REALLY appreciate the awesomeness of a Galentine’s Day!

It should really be a national holiday! It certainly WILL be an ANNUAL event!

And I also I sent some Galentine’s out to some of my gals!

LADIES CELEBRATING LADIES!

I’m planning on having a GALENTINE’S DAY breakfast every other month!

And NEXT year – GALENTINE’S day will be EPIC!

So – I’ve known Nicole for over 5 years – which is just crazy to being with!

And in that time – SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED. She’s a fighter. Loyal. Devoted. Supportive.

And I’ve never seen her happier.

*A* – you are a loved and lucky little girl! WE LOVE YOU!

Family. It’s awesome to be close to your family. I couldn’t imagine my life without my cousins and aunts and uncles.

*A* and Fitzy are about 6 weeks apart – which is so much fun! *A* had a baby fox party over Memorial Day weekend – and we just HAD to be there!

My parents have 4 baby kittens to find homes for – the boys just LOVE them!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY *A*! WE LOVE YOU!

Our lives are crazy sometimes. I have weddings and sessions on the weekends. Jared’s parents travel. My mom works weekends sporadically. We couldn’t fit in a party until the middle of May – but it actually worked out better – it was a BEAUTIFUL day!

This cake – OH MY WORD. BEAUTIFUL and SO DELICIOUS!

It just so happened that my brother and his family were in town for the party! It was AWESOME having everyone together!

Fitzy and that little guy on his left (our right) are only about a week apart in age! I JUST LOVE THIS PICTURE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FITZGERALD!

Enoch turned one on November 19th – crazy!

We had a party for him at the beginning of November – along with my sister’s baby shower for sweet Jack!

My sweet family! I just LOVE them!

He LOVED his zucchini bread cake!

My brother and his family were in town for the parties – so we took advantage of the cousin time!

In the spring – we will try to combine birthday parties and then again in the fall – it’s so much easier with everyone farther apart!

I photographed these sweet twins in September – with their big brother!

Holly asked if I would capture their birthday party! And bring my kiddos with me if I’d like! I brought Fitzy – but bringing them both AND working – too much!

May 1st was the last time I blogged – I’ve NEVER been this far behind! But I WILL catch up!

Fitzy is three (and a little bit at this point). I am now the momma of a three year old. That’s crazy!

We had an easter egg hunt with some of his friends from playgroup and MOPS on Friday morning. It was SO fun! 10 boys! They ran around and hunted eggs and painted pictures and opened presents! And I didn’t take a single picture. Because I’m trying to enjoy and not be behind the lens all the time!

On Saturday we had a family party with an easter egg hunt and some painting again!

5 months. He is 5 months old in this picture. Insanity. He’s SO huge! (He’s only gotten bigger!)

He LOVES LOVES LOVES guys. We separate them into piles. Good guys. Bad guys. Girls. Little guys that Enoch would choke on. All day. Every day.

Nailed that cake right? It’s a beautiful hot mess – that Fitzy made. He is all about doing everything himself. So he does. And it’s awesome!

Fitzgerald – you are an amazing kiddo! You help me to calm down. You have a giant heart – just like your daddy. You sing and dance. You are the silliest boy I’ve ever known. You are my kind-hearted boy. I love you. So much.
