Can you guess how I met Jackie?

You got it – FACEBOOK!

We met on a breezy August day to take some pictures of her beautiful family!

Dave & Jared have known each other for a long time – they went to NCA together. We ran into Dave in Wal*Mart one night and got talking – he was engaged to a sweet girl named Jenna and they were really frustrated with the price of wedding photographers. Definitely a God appointment! They came to the house a few nights later to look at my work – which there wasn’t much of – and said – YES!

We started to hang out with them and became close friends.

Jenna is from Troy and almost everyone from the Troy area has heard about me because of Jenna – who told a friend of a friend of a friend about me. Jenna & Dave really helped my photography get off the ground and spread the word about me – which is one of the MANY reasons I love them!

Dave is from a very large family – 10 kids! Their family has grown lately with some new grandbabies and they needed an updated family photo. Getting the whole family together is difficult so we only had a small window to do photos. And then it rained. Now – we need the rain but I couldn’t reschedule this session since Kathryn and her family were leaving to go back home the moment it was done. The skies cleared just in time for our shoot! Praise Jesus!

Which is another AWESOME thing about this family – they LOVE Jesus!

The crazy thing is that they are ALL beautiful!

*R* is having a fish themed birthday party and his mom wanted to know if I could figure something out! Since I am a Trout – I figured my parents or Gramma would have something around the house!

He also LOVES his Buzz & Woody figurines – and wouldn’t put them down!

I met Jenna on FACEBOOK and the moment I walked in their home I knew it was going to be a great session!

Their little girl is so SWEET! She was so expressive in telling me about everything – including her beautiful baby brother!

Jenna and my brother graduated high school together – such a small world!

I met Brooke through – FACEBOOK! Seriously the best thing for business EVER!

We met at the Waverly Glen in early August for a session with her family!

Her kiddos were so great to work with!

I took photos of Jess & her family in June and her parents saw them and had to make an appt. for the WHOLE family!

This was probably the largest group I have ever photographed – with tons of little kiddos!

I had a great time with all of you!

I met Karla on FACEBOOK and set up a session with her family! We met at 10.30 in the morning but it was still VERY warm out!

I met Keesha when I took her sweet babe’s newborn photos – and we set up a session for her 6 month portraits!

Time flies way too quickly!

Keesha assured me that *R* is one of the happiest babies ever – but the moment I enter the room – the seriousness turns on.

I often tell people that I have a something about me that makes babies turn on the serious look. Either way – we got great shots!
