I LOVE sessions with Cindy and her family!

I LOVE watching who they are and what they do!

Fitzy and this little guy go to school together – he’s such a fun kiddo!

OH MY HEART!! This guy and his little sister – PERFECTION!

It was STILL windy!!

And that little tot lost a shoe – but but some miraculous miracle – it was found!!

Momma – I picked these flowers for you – because they’re pretty – like you momma.

I can’t tell you how many times he did this during our session!

That little girl – I WILL get a smile out of her – I WILL – SOMEDAY!

A daughter – a sweet daughter – I LOVE that relationship!

I met with Todd & Sara on that same WINDY afternoon – but they were all troopers!

We went to the Iron Kettle Pumpkin Farm while my sister was home!

When we were little – we made the trip every year with our cousins!

Those guys – they’re ADORABLE!!

You might notice that Fitzy didn’t come with us – he would rather stay home with his G!

We were told that the donuts did NOT have milk in them – but later – we found out they did – super sad.

Thankfully – Enoch’s allergy is not life-threatening – gives him a tummy-ache for a few days – BUT – lesson learned – ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check the label and sometimes even then – it might not be right!

Just in case you think that every outing is sunshine and rainbows – it’s really not! This one is a runner!

Sometimes – I get really sad that our guys can’t grow up together – BUT – these moments – they make me happy!

I LOVE photographing Autumn and her growing family every year!

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE a moody black & white!

A YEAR – A WHOLE YEAR – it goes so very fast! It seems like I was JUST taking his newborn photos!

And really – let’s be totally honest here – THIS is how sessions typically go!

Which is why I LOVE lifestyle sessions – because THIS is real life!

Again – really real life! And what does it come down to? He wanted what he wanted when he couldn’t have it!

Which is really the issue with ALL OF US! We want what WE want when we can’t have it.

Those sweet brothers – BEST FRIENDS!

Autumn – thank you SO MUCH for asking me to photograph your family year after year!

We painted some pumpkins while Sam and Jack were home!

And the sunrise – cus – you know – my littlest needs the bare minimum amount of sleep ANY human does to survive.

5 AM. EVERY SINGLE DAY. Doesn’t matter what we do to change that.

Keep him up later – still 5 AM AND a really really hard day the next day.

Tire him out more – this kid is non-stop from 5 AM to 7 PM – doesn’t matter.

And if ONE MORE PERSON says – God must have given you the non-sleepers because He knew you would handle it with such grace and beauty.

NO. NO GRACE AND BEAUTY HERE. CRYING. LOTS OF TEARS. AND CRYING. AND EXHAUSTION.

This guy – with his FRESH haircut! And his cows – his FAVORITE cows!

Sometimes I don’t see a family every year. Sometimes I don’t see them every other year – sometimes it’s a FEW years – BUT that makes the excitement even better!

The last time I saw this little family – their little guy was still in his momma’s belly!

Aren’t they ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE?!
