My friend Megan – she’s not only a dear friend – but an awesome photographer too!

Technically my competition in this small town – but that’s not how we work!

That’s my shot – I brought my camera along too – just to grab a few shots of the boys before she got there – but she was RIGHT BEHIND US!

But I did manage to get a few of this curly-headed sweet thing!

But Megan got a couple of ME getting a couple of E!

Those are my shots too!

So now – here’s Megan’s view of our quick time at the pool! We had been trying and trying to get together and make this work on a sunny evening – but she was busy when I was free and I was busy when she was free – and it didn’t work out too great – but we had a quick 15 minutes while the clouds parted and the rain stopped – and the sun disappeared – but we got what we could!

And next year – we will do a swimming session at the end of June instead of holding out hope and running into September!

This brave guy – next year – he might not even need his puddle jumper!

He’s mastered swimming in the deep end!

My friend Mara got me the pizza floatie for my birthday – BEST PRESENT EVER!

We spent the afternoon picking blueberries with GG!

And it’s been FOREVER since I’ve taken pictures of Jack – so we had a mini-mini photo session!

That G – she’s the ABSOLUTE BEST!

I didn’t intend on bringing my camera to the fair – but I was going straight home afterward – and couldn’t risk leaving it in the car!

I’m really happy that I HAD to bring it with me!

The boys love taking pictures of me – and I LOVE seeing how they see me!

My brother and his wife were home visiting my parents in July – it didn’t work for ALL of us to get together – but I couldn’t resist taking pictures of the kids together!

Sammy and Jack came home too!

Fitzy and Rowyn are the only kiddos that got one-on-one time with Sammy – they ADORE her!

We spend SO MUCH time at the pool in the summer! We go to church with a very kind and generous man – who happens to open up his pool to us! And we go – A LOT! I got back from photographing Aszur and her family in their pool and was inspired to take my camera to document my boys swimming and having fun!

He is SO proud of himself!

You’ve read about my Aunt Lori before – or at least – you should have by now!

She’s an integral part of our lives – and her husband Bob – he’s quite the guy! His birthday happens to fall on the 4th of July – so we usually have a picnic to celebrate him!

And that sweet Aunt Lori – she remembers this Enoch guy and his dairy allergy!

Have you heard of this “new” thing – painting rocks and hiding them around your county?

He cannot eat his cake without it swimming in milk!

That tire swing belonged to my great-grandma Foulkrod! I LOVE heirlooms!

I LOVE curls too! And those big brown eyes!

And that crazy little face!

The cousins had to come get some kitten snuggles too!

Thankfully – GG let me take a few shots of her!

My parents had some kittens – and the boys just LOVED them! And – I mean the drop-offs had them.

While E loves the cows – they can be LOUD sometimes!

Believe me – he begged and begged to take this little guy home!

Even GG had to come out for some cuddles!

We ended the day with a marshmallow roast – stay tuned for those shots tomorrow!

As promised – PART TWO!

When Pa first got his motorcycle – E wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! He also did NOT want Pa riding it!

The boys soon warmed up to the idea of a MOTORCYCLE RIDE!

Now – I know – you’re thinking – WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM!

Great care was taken and low speeds were observed!

And because I REALLY DO LOVE to take pictures of nature!

WATERWORKS! WE LOVE OUR GAMES in this family!

STAR WARS FOR LIFE!

He really really enjoys playing with guys!

If you haven’t in a while – take your camera – and devote a day to capturing your family in action! You will NOT regret it!

At the end of May – we went to a little party for *A* – and the boys had such a great time with their cousins!

I was coming back home – home meaning my parents – and Enoch was looking for me out the window!

HOW ON EARTH IS IT POSSIBLE THAT OUR LITTLE FITZY GUY IS A BIG KINDERGARTEN GRADUATE!

He was SO PROUD of himself for graduating Kindergarten!

I tried to convince him to put Fitzgerald on his diploma – but he insisted upon Fitzy – because I only call him Fitzgerald when he’s in trouble!

Fitzy wants to be a chef when he grows up – and I have no doubt that he will!

I debated getting up and moving to get a better picture – but then I talked myself into just enjoying the moment where I was!

As a photographer – it’s a struggle that I have quite often!

My dad had to work late and the threat of thunderstorms kept my mom and GG at home – but he was supported by LOTS of people that love him!

These two women have poured SO much into their students this year! Fitzy was very nervous for the first month of school and it broke our hearts to watch the anxiety that Jared and I grew up with in our little guy. But – we prayed and believed and tried again and again and he LOVED it!

Fitzy guy – you are more than I prayed for. More than I waited for. More than I hoped for.

We are SO proud of you and LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
