My parents have a dog named Buddy – he was a drop off that Derek fell in love with and ended up keeping – thinking that he would take him someday – but I think my dad is too attached.

He does NOT like Schrute!

My parents have a family of birds living on their porch …

Sunday night we hung out with some good friends and their puppy!

It’s a good thing we didn’t bring Schrute – he could have eaten this pup in one bite!

There are miniature horses a few miles down the road from “our” house – which is a few miles up the road from Mel’s house.

Mom and I stopped to get a few pictures on the way home.

Melody has some other cute cows hanging out with the Dexters.

We took a ride up to the ACTUAL top of the hill to hang out with them for a while.

This last cow is called Granny – she is over 20 years old!

I mentioned before about my parents starting a farm with their friend Melody.

Last time I went down to the barn – the weather was horrible and I didn’t have the right flash to capture the images I wanted. Mom and I went down on Saturday to take another shot.

The baby cows are SO tiny and SO cute.

We wanted to get a picture of the three of them together and looking at us – this was the best we could get!

They have joined with their friend Melody to raise Dexter cows – a smaller, bettter quality cow that produces milk for the lactose intolerant.

I went down to see a few of the calves – Mom said they were TINY – smaller than Schrute – but I didn’t believe her!

I should have – they are TEENY TINY!

Friday night we went to Sunbury to hang out with our friends – the Herbsters. They have a Schnoodle – a cross between a Schnauzer and Poodle – named Bear. Amy didn’t know if Bear would do well with another dog in the house – but he did great! They were a little curious at first but then started playing like champs!
