NATURE – NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER

A few weeks ago a few of our Powerkidz were baptized. Our friend Amanda came with her new baby *L*. I did Amanda’s maternity shots a few weeks before *L* joined the family!
I can’t hold new babies very long without getting completely choked up and emotional – but Kurtis snapped a few of me before I had to give her back.

I love the way Jared is looking at me in the next shot.
He knows how much I want children and always have …

Last July I heard from a girl named Whitney – who was inquiring about wedding photography. Her friend Julie was getting married in August and I was her photographer. Julie & Tyler were my signature image for over 6 months on my blog. Whitney was also at a few weddings that I shot this year.
Whitney and Craig attend my parents church in Mt. Pisgah – where I go when I spend the weekends with them. Whitney & Craig took me to their reception site a few weeks before the wedding – and I couldn’t wait!
This wedding was two weeks before our five year anniversary – when I went to take shots of the bride’s dress I discovered that her dress was almost the exact copy of my wedding dress!
Whitney & Craig – it was great to get to know you and your families better! Thanks so much for having me capture your day!

I have so many great images to post – you’ll have to check out the WITH THIS RING gallery!

Aunt L caught this image of me in action! Thank you SO MUCH!

Like I said before – check out the GALLERY for all Craig & Whitney’s featured photos!
Becky and I go to church together – we have her kids in Wednesday night group. She had asked me about wedding photography last year booking a June 12, 2009 wedding. I took Becky & Jason’s engagement photos in the fall – they were SO MUCH FUN and so happy to be in love!
I met them at the church to get ready and then head over to the train station in Wellsboro for the wedding.

The rings – how I LOVE the rings!

The bride carried her grandmother’s bible – I couldn’t resist!

Thanks again Becky & Jason! Your ceremony was beautiful and I am so happy for your family!
Last week I subbed at the Watsontown Phoenix office for three days. I stayed with a family in Sunbury – Chris is the therapist for the Sunbury Phoenix clinic and he had covered in Mansfield when Amy was out on maternity leave with the twins. We became close with his family and have stayed in touch with them.
Chris & Amy’s son Zach is in a band – DAWSON – they are playing at a few events this summer and wanted some promotional shots. Zach is 14 and such a good kid. The other band members are twin brothers.
We went down to the train tracks and shot some photos in Chris & Amy’s backyard. I LOVE the way they turned out!

Thanks again guys! I had a blast working with you!
My parents have an old truck in their front yard that I have posted photos of before – in fact I won a prize in the Troy Fair years ago with a photo of this truck. They want to sell it – but I told them it would have to wait till after the wedding. I CANNOT wait to get photos of the bridal party and their couple shots on this truck!

If I could – I would move it to OUR yard and use it for senior pictures!

When Samm asked me what I wanted to do for the wedding – be the photographer or the maid of honor – I told her she would have to tell me – cus I would choose photographer.
So I am her photographer – with Aunt L & Mara covering the shots I can’t get – and her maid of honor – and her wedding planner.
We went shopping last week for invitation supplies and jewelry- WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!
We are making the invites and meeting with Holly – a former barden photography bride – for the AMAZING cake next week!
We found really funky jewelry that we are going to put together for everyone!
I am getting so excited for this wedding!
While I was doing the *P* wedding at the end of May – I noticed this lone bottle floating in the pond …
