Nicole & Ben were married at the end of September – their friend Ashley called me to book an appointment after seeing their wedding photos. I am losing track of days since these are about a week behind – but we made the session for the day that it ended up snowing. *L* was not much for having her photos taken – but I ran with it and am happy with the shots we got.

Thanks again Ashley! Next time – it better not snow!

I wanted to try out a few new ideas with Dave & Jenna – and they were such willing participants!

Jenna & I were so excited about the idea of being pregnant at the same time and having babies so close in age. As you know, this has been a really rough year for me – and this session was no different. When I look at Jenna – or any pregnant woman for that matter – all I see is what I would have been – what I want so badly. This session was very hard for me – but I wanted to capture the beauty and emotion of pregnancy – what it means to me …

They were such great models – and I am so thankful that they allowed me to share these photos with you.

Jenna & Dave – OH HOW I LOVE THEM!

I photographed their wedding in December of 2006 and have been taking pictures of them ever since!

Jenna is close to 90% of the reason that photography blew up for me. She has spread the word ALL around Troy and almost every contact I get is traced back to Jenna.

Jenna and I met through a God appointment. I’m pretty sure I’ve told the story before – but if not – here is a quick recap. Jared and Dave went to high school together and we ran into him in Wal*Mart one night where he mentioned that he was getting married. He was waiting for his sweetie to get off work – she worked at Subway in Wal*Mart – she zoomed by with a big dumpster and we were introduced. I mentioned that I was getting into photography and was more than willing to help with anything!

We hit it off right away and have been friends since!

Jenna & Dave are expecting their second sweetness in November and I wanted to capture this time for them …

I took photos of Tommy earlier this year while he played baseball. His mom set up his senior session MONTHS AGO! My kind of mom!

She wanted to have a TOTAL country feel to the photos – I think we got what she wanted.
