Generation.

One of the things I love most about going to church is witnessing the next generation of leaders emerge. Right now we have quite a few tots in our church that just brighten up the day. I ducked out a little early on Sunday and stopped in the nursery to catch a few shots.

This little girl captures my heart …

Last night brought a photo shoot my way. I photographed this little boy over Christmas and was back to take some shots of his new baby brother.

It was a job getting this smile, but once I got it … it was gold.

Show.

Earlier this month Matt, Johna, Jared, and I went to a concert at MU by Lady Antebellum. Last year we saw Emerson Drive (who I adore and just happen to put on an incredible show) at MU and thought, why not these guys. Emerson Drive always rocks the house for me, but these guys put on an incredible show too.

Here are some of my favorites of Emerson Drive …

This one is courtesy of Kyla S. I am on the far left and Samm, my sister, is the one singing into the mic.

This one has horrible quality but is the first picture of me and Samm taken with Emerson Drive as a group.

Brad, the lead singer.

David, the fiddler.

This one is one of my all-time favorites from the summer Samm and I followed Emerson Drive throughout the Northeast.

And now, Lady Antebellum.

If you get the chance to see either band … GO. I promise you will not be disappointed.

You’re out !!!

Baseball season is back in swing again, which is hard to imagine. We are very close with a family at church whose son plays baseball. His games make our calendars from April to June. We love getting outdoors and supporting “our kids” from church. In these photos, we’re cheering for the red.

Adventures in babysitting …

I haven’t really watched the girls by myself since the twins have been in full walking/running/climbing action.

I let Ella eat some grapes on the couch, which she informed me was not allowed by Mommy and Daddy and that we need to keep it hush-hush.

Then the twins woke up …

The bathroom pics I posted the other day were not exactly the finished project.

Matt has to stop by and do a quick run-down today, but other than that, here you go …

No, not baby babies. Baby cows.

My mom’s friend Mel runs a farm. Two weekends ago I spent some time in the mud and muck to help capture some sweet moments with her favorite calf, Sierra. Every morning Mel opens her door and Sierra runs and gives her kisses. She said that not many people believed her so she wanted proof.

Mel also has a horse, a minature horse, and a pony that chill with the cows.

No, not Project Runway. Our bathroom is now finished!

Here are some “in transition” pictures …

If you’d like to stop by and see our new addition, please do.

We appreciate the hard work of Matt and his guys and we recommend them to anyone.

The washer/dryer should be done tonight and the project will be complete!

We dropped one more load off for Jared’s mom to do while we wait for our wash. We thought maybe she would need time to say goodbye to nearly 3 years of our laundry.
