Memories …
Queen Anne’s Lace reminds of my Gramma Trout – I am pretty sure they were the flowers in her wedding. Everytime I see them I think of Gramma Trout. Gramma Trout is a very strong woman – an intense prayer warrior – a lover of souls – a woman I am proud to call my grandmother.
Game plan …
GAME PLAN – God’s GAME PLAN for your life – that’s the theme of camp this year.
Here are some pictures from the last two nights …
The skies have been mean and ugly the past two nights – but God has shown us mercy. We only had to go inside for a little spell Monday night and not at all last night. THANK YOU.
Swimming …
This week is the week of Mega Sports Camp at CNC. I invited my cousins Vanessa and Zach to come stay with us for the week. Yesterday I had the afternoon off – so we played mini-golf and went swimming – they went swimming. It’s been pretty chilly here this week – not to mention rainy.
Vanessa made friends with a few of the girls from church already – in fact she went to a sleepover last night with a bunch of them.
Yea – it looks cold – it was.
Our babies …
I grew up watching television. As an adult I try and limit myself to the amount of television I watch. I usually only allow myself 3 shows at a time. This fall it was The Office, Scrubs, and CSI. Jared was a punk and threw in Pushing Daisies – so it became 4. There is a girl on Pushing Daisies called Charlotte Charles – lonely tourist Charlotte Charles to be exact. Her best friend from childhood called her Chuck. Jared and I love this – he got to calling me Chuck at random times. When we got the Jeep we decided to be those weird car owners that name their cars. It had to be Chuck. I love the concept of naming a baby girl Charlotte and calling her Chuck but Jared wasn’t much for that for a baby girl – so we thought why not the Jeep.
The Stratus started to get a little jealous – okay a LOT jealous – so we decided to name her after our second favorite girl on TV – Pamm.
They are learning to share – the driveway and bath time.
Sweet child …
Saturday afternoon we went and spent time with the new babe and new parents. It is so amazing to me to watch people just fit right into the role of parents.
She is a sweet – sweet child.
