Carrie – the events of this year have been stressful – to say the least!

I go to Lodi Point to look for lake glass. But people also hunt for the smooth rocks – especially the ones with holes in them – how do they get there!?

While it was a little breezy on the lake – it was a PERFECT October day for a wedding!

I LOVE that shot from Mara!!

There are SO MANY reasons you should have 2 photographers at your wedding!!

Last March – right before the world turned completely upside-down – I met Carrie at a BRIDAL EXPO at Logan Ridge!!

She said – I just set my date – October 17th! Are you available!?

Sadly – I was not. But then everything changed. My bride for October 17th changed her wedding to October 16th of 2021.

I reached out to Carrie – but she had also changed her date to October 16th of 2021.

Then – I got a message at the end of September from Carrie! She asked if I was available on October 17th of this year after all!

They decided to have a small ceremony at her favorite place – Lodi Point (which also happens to be MY favorite place)!!

I changed my schedule around a little bit and was able to make it work!!

Do you remember when Mara used to come with me to weddings and take some shots!? She came with me to Carrie’s wedding and grabbed this shot – along with many other great ones!

Any photos you see without the db next to barden photography are shots Mara took!!

I very rarely get the chance to be so up close & personal during a ceremony – it was AMAZING!!
