Wendy & Mike were married on 6.26.2010 – mine and Jared’s SIX year anniversary!

Wendy’s sister – Ashley – had wanted me for her wedding but I was booked – so I have been looking forward to meeting this family!

Katie – the bride’s youngest sister and budding photographer!

We were hit with POURING rain at the end of the wedding – but the wedding party loved it!

So much so – the bride and her bridesmaids jumped in the pond just as I was leaving!!!

You guys were AWESOME!!!!!!

I am photographing Lee & Christy’s wedding this weekend – and am SO excited about it!

We had to cancel our first engagement session thanks to the lovely weather – and during their engagement session that we fit in a few weeks ago – it POURED!

We made it work to our advantage!

Stephanie and Zackery were married on June 19th – and it was a BEAUTIFUL wedding!

I was slightly nervous – Stephanie’s dad is a photographer!

I had a great time with their family and cried when I said goodbye to Stephanie – they are moving to Alaska right after their honeymoon!

It was a beautiful ceremony and Zackery’s dad talked about “someday” and I’m sure everyone was crying!

They are such a gorgeous couple!!!

Stephanie is a dental hygenist and Zackery is a helicopter pilot! Walker Cake Co. did a GREAT job!!

I met Liz at the BRIDAL EXPO this January where she told me about her Belhurst Castle wedding! I was so excited when she came back to give me a deposit right then for her 6.13.10 wedding!

It was a PERFECT day!

Kattie & Craig were married on one of the HOTTEST days of the year! 6.12.2010 was so hot and sticky – but that didn’t stop Kattie & Craig from having a beautiful wedding!

I met Tiffany on FACEBOOK (surprise, surprise)!

Josh & Tiffany met at ballroom dancing classes and were so sweet at our session. We took the photos on my parents farm – in the woods and around the cow pastures. They were so great with plowing through the weeds and avoiding the cow pies!

I met Lael & Mark at the BRIDAL EXPO this past January and I was secretly wishing they would book with me! THEY DID – for their July 11th wedding!

I love this couple – they are so sweet and down-to-earth!

They picked out a GORGEOUS spot in Ithaca for their engagement session – Giles St. Gorge!

Then we stopped at Ithaca College – where they met – in the music department!

I cannot wait for their wedding!

I met Heather & Josh at the BRIDAL EXPO in 2009 and took their engagement photos last spring! This wedding has been on the books for quite some time! We had a beautiful day for their May 29th wedding!

Aszur was my second shooter for the day and she spent the morning with the guys while I spent the morning with the girls!

I met Nicki at Chango’s one night while I had my photographs down there for a Women In Business display! I was already booked for her wedding – so we set her up with my assistant KT!

Things happen in life – lessons are learned and we realize how strong we are – and who we can trust. In February, KT decided to no longer pursue photography and I was left with Nicki & Kirk with no wedding photographer – along with 9 other brides.

Thankfully my local photographer friends came to my rescue – above and beyond! The brides were also incredibly understanding! Bridget Reed is the lucky photog photographing Kirk & Nicki for their October wedding – how I envy her – although I have an equally awesome bride and groom that day!

This is my favorite engagement session so far – thank you so much Nicki & Kirk for trusting my vision and for the trek around your property to find the perfect spots! I cannot wait to see your wedding photos!
