Katie is a fellow photographer and the youngest of 4 sisters. I’ve taken pictures at one sister’s wedding and anniversary photos of another!

Okay – so in case you are wondering – I didn’t really tell Joe to look at Katie – he just couldn’t take his eyes off her! So sweet!

This session made me so happy! I loved spending time with you guys – and the shots I got were exactly what I’ve been striving for!

I’ve known Kelly & Joe for quite a while now! I photographed her sister’s wedding a few years ago and have done family photos for them in the past!

If I could shoot at this location every day – I would be a happy happy girl!

I couldn’t have asked for a better family shot! The secret – I told *A* that she could take a picture of her mom if she gave me a BIG smile!

I’ve known Autumn for a LONG time. She “dated” my brother in middle school I think – so I say dated loosely – cus we all remember middle school!

She is a local photographer and SUCH a sweetheart!

I’m not gonna lie – doing a session for another photographer adds a little bit of nervousness on my end – so you can imagine a wedding! We had talked before that Autumn could have 5 freak out moments available to her. She could tell me what a horrible job I was doing – what shots I wasn’t getting – could just totally FREAK out if she needed to. She didn’t use ONE – not a single one! I honestly don’t know if I could keep my cool as a bride and a photographer!

She didn’t even freak out about the rain – and did it rain. And rain and rain and rain. The forecast was AWFUL – monsoon like winds and rain all day – getting severe around 3 pm – right when the ceremony started. Thankfully – it rained all morning. The ceremony was moved inside – BUT – we were able to get outside pictures and it was clear for the rest of the night!

Autumn is a CRAZY crafty girl. She made most of the things for her wedding – beautifully!

If you remember her bridal session shoes – they were pink. So Autumn painted them – awesome!

The wedding was at Hidden Valley Campground – which was BEAUTIFUL!

Autumn’s mom MADE the wedding cake AND the flower girl dresses AND did all the alterations on ALL the dresses! She is also an amazingly crafty woman!

And the rain rain rain came down down down …

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture in the frame – such an awesome idea!

Craig Griffin came along with me and took the photos of the guys – can’t wait to see them all! I’ll post a preview when I get them!

I met Noell and Jay on their wedding day – which happens more often than you would think!

They had a BEAUTIFUL day and were so happy!

I met Autumn when she dated my brother in middle school – high school – something – a long time ago!

I took her engagement photos last year and have been looking forward to their wedding!

We did some bridal portraits in August – something I recommend that EVERY bride do!

Their wedding was this past weekend – so it’s safe to post these now!

Her shoes were way too pink for her liking – so when you see her wedding photos – you’ll have to look for a new shade!

Autumn is a fellow photographer – so the pressure was on for this session!

Her fiance LOVES everything FORD – especially vintage – so the truck was a surprise for him!

I met Katie through her cousin Ashley – who I met on FACEBOOK! I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ALL YEAR!

Adam Murtland was my AWESOME second shooter! He spent the day with the guys while I hung out with the girls! I HIGHLY recommend hiring a second shooter at your wedding! Once you see the photos – you’ll know why!

Any photos with the barden photography text on them WITHOUT my db logo – are ones that Adam shot and I edited. The rest are all mine.

I met Melissa at her twin sister’s wedding in 2010! I loved working with her family and have been looking forward to this wedding all year!

She was married in Rochester so my dad and Jared and Fitzy spent the day with my cousins and then joined me at the hotel later that night!

I’ve been looking forward to Becky and Josh’s wedding all year! When I walked in and saw her dress – I got even more excited!

ISN’T SHE GORGEOUS!

Just as we got done with these photos – the rain started – lightly. Then it came down. Hard. The ceremony was outside – so we waited it out – but the rain kept coming. Becky held it together so well!

Waiting for the rain – it didn’t stop.We moved to the reception location for the ceremony – where it rained off and on most of the afternoon. But like I said – Becky held it together SO well!

We watched the skies closely and took any down time at the reception as a chance to get the pictures we needed!

I met Eva at the ARNOT MALL BRIDAL EXPO in 2011. She saw the photos from Zack & Stephanie’s wedding and fell in love! Her Jake was in the military and she wanted her wedding pictures to look just like this! I’ve been waiting for this wedding all year!
