Last year I photographed Noreen’s wedding. Her best friend messaged me and said – I want to have you stay a little longer at the wedding – so she got Noreen another hour as a wedding gift!

Noreen thanked Jessica with a gift certificate! THE BEST GIFT EVER!! I messaged Jessica to set up her session – but she was really hoping to use it in October – when she was nearing her due date with her little girl! I extended the expiration date a few months and we set a date!

Her boys play football and finding a date that worked for all of us was a little tough – but we found one! And it started to rain!!! NO!!!!!!!!

So – we found a tree and prayed and waited for the rain to stop!

IT DID!!!

Sometimes you forget that YOU have a story – one that started before the babies were born! I’m trying to remember to get a photo of the two of you at your session!!

I first met Norleen in 2011 when they scheduled their session from the NCA auction!! I’ve photographed them every other year since then I think!

This guy – I last saw him when he was just a chubby baby! He came running down the hallway saying DANIELLE!! DANIELLE!! DANIELLE!!

BUT – when he got to the end and saw me – he stopped and started to back up. WRONG DANIELLE!! His aunt is Danielle and he was really confused – why isn’t MY Danielle here!?

But I won him over pretty quick talking about cars!!

When the sun starts setting earlier – I need to be with you beautiful people before Jared gets out of work.

Jared’s parents live right next door & while they are still here and not traveling the winter away – they keep the boys for us.

She LOVES the silhouette shots and had been asking to fit them in somewhere – but my late fall schedule was completely packed!!

Unfortunately – someone had to cancel because their son was pretty sick and needed to recuperate.

So I scheduled a silhouette session for them!

She had asked if I would bring the boys along – I had planned to surprise them anyway!!

I tried to take a few photos of Ericka & her girls when we did their silhouette session – but her littlest was NOT having it!

Ericka spent the weekend with my sister at my parents – and they wanted an awkward family photo!!

On Sunday – we tried for some shots of Ericka & her girls – but that little thing was STILL not happy about it!!

FIFTEEN YEARS! I’ve been taking their pictures for almost 15 years!!

She was 6 months old when I met her mom. HOW!?

I quit my job with Amy almost 11 years ago to pursue this full-time. Those girls were my test subjects more times than I can count!

It was a WARM September wedding!!

I hadn’t met Maddy or Jake – that is – until I got to the cabin and realized who they were!

Maddy was in Megan’s wedding – and I photographed her then!! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t made the connection earlier!
