THINK PINK – CELEBRATING LIFE . SUPPORTING THE CAUSE

Filed under: blog update,just because,my town,newsworthy — admin at 10:33 am on Thursday, February 25, 2010

barden photography is excited to announce a partnership with Think Pink Photography. Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our professional photographer network, we are helping breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

To support the cause, we have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

Please subscribe to our blog (on the Think Pink website) and tell your friends and family about Think Pink Photography. Awareness is everything and we can’t be successful without you.

I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Think Pink Photography!

If you hire me, mention Think Pink and I will make a personal donation to the organization. If you, or someone you know, would like to schedule a Think Pink session, please contact me for details.

I am very proud to be a network photographer with Think Pink Photography, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Think Pink Photography website at: http://www.thinkpinkphotography.org

NEW CHAPTER

Filed under: bardenisms,blog update,just because,newsworthy,schedule,website update — admin at 2:54 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2010

A new chapter is starting for BARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY!

I am offering some new services, a community outreach contest, and an additional photographer.

Lots of you know that KT joined us this year – booking 11 weddings for 2010 so far!

If I am booked for your wedding – you have the option to still use barden photography and KT will be your photographer.

KT now has her own blog and her own schedule! If you would like to inquire about KT’s prices – jot me an email!

You will also notice that the banner has changed at the top of the website – if not you might need to refresh – focusing on seniors.

Mandy & Jason – thank you so much for being my cover models these past few months!

Melissa – welcome as the new face of barden photography!

I am so excited about senior photos this year! I have already surpassed my over 30 goal – and that was for the class of 2010.

My goal for the class of 2011 is … 100 seniors – from any and all surrounding schools!

I only have about 2 open dates for weddings this year and already have 4 for 2011!

KT has lots of open dates for 2010 – check out her schedule if you are interested!

As I look ahead at the future of barden photography I am humbled and amazed that I have the support of so many of YOU!

THANK YOU THANK YOU

BRIDAL EXPO – DAY ONE

Filed under: bardenisms,just because,marry me,newsworthy,schedule,SWAG,wedding — admin at 7:23 am on Saturday, January 9, 2010

Yesterday was GREAT! We didn’t see as many couples as we would have liked to but it was a Friday and the weather was a little shady.

We got there at 9.30ish and set up the booth – WHICH LOOKS SO SHARP! I will TRY to remember to take my camera and get some shots!

We had 17 brides register for our FREE SWAG!

We booked a wedding on 9.25.2010 for KT – thanks again Miranda!

We booked another wedding for me on 6.13.2010 – a Sunday wedding at … BELHURST CASTLE! AHHHHHHH!!!! Thanks again so much Elizabeth!!!!!!

The coordinators from the mall told me that our booth looked really sharp and they would make a note in their books for next year about it!

We got home around 10.15ish where I promptly lost my voice – waking up to realize that I have INDEED lost it for sure – I cannot speak above a whisper – thank goodness for KT and her translating!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE SUPPORT FROM MY FORMER CLIENTS that stopped by – you guys are AMAZING!

Special thanks to Mandy for bringing her sweetness Leah and letting me yoink her for a bit!

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE TODAY OR TOMORROW!

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

Filed under: my town, newsworthy, portraits — admin at 2:38 pm on Monday, August 24, 2009

CHRISTMAS!

From now until November 15th I am offering a CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!

I have been working on this idea for some time and am ready to introduce it to everyone!

Depending on the interest – I will set up some time for the sessions in 30 – 45 minute blocks on an evening or a Sunday.

I can also schedule as needed …

I am offering three different locations in Mansfield …

1. The Farmer in the Dell – even though it’s abandoned it makes for a great backdrop.

2. Mansfield University – the campus is BEAUTIFUL with lots of locations we can use.

3. Downtown Mansfield – mostly the alley behind Strohecker Vision.

It will be a 30 minute session per family – $70.

Each session will receive a disc of photos for reproduction.

Each 30 minute session will be for immediate family – mom, dad, and the kiddos.

We can add in grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins for an additional price of $25 per family and will have to extend the session somewhat.

You can add on CHRISTMAS CARDS – 50 – 4 x 8 cards for $50.

You can also order a book  of your session – we offer 3 different sizes –

Soft cover – 20 page – 7 x 9 book – $50

Hard cover – 20 page – 8 x 8 book – $75

Hard cover – 20 page – 12 x 12 book – $125
