JUST MARRIED!!
This picture – I cried. The moments between a mother and her son on his wedding day – they’re like looking into my future.
And I hope his bride greets us with a smile like that and he hugs me so hard his nose smooshes into my shoulder.

Did you know that I think every wedding should have two photographers!?
Vitoria had told me there would be another photographer at the wedding – spending time with the guys while I was with the girls!
I didn’t get many photos of the guys getting ready – but I wanted to get at least a few!

Getting ready photos are some of my favorite photos – I’m SO happy I was able to spend so much time with Victoria & the women that love her!!
I met with Victoria and her mom earlier this year about her wedding – in May!! It seemed like there was so much time till the end of May – but it snuck up like time does!
This little sweetie – she was SO MUCH FUN! And made for some great shots!
She asked – can I get my pretty dress on now!? What about now!? Maybe now!?

How often do you handwrite your love!? How often do you put letters to paper to say thank you!?
Victoria gave her mom this letter – handwritten – and she will always have this to open and read.
To remember how loved she is. And how much she love she poured (and continues to pour) into her beautiful daughter.

When Krissy told me that Gus wanted to PROPOSE during a photo session – I KNEW I had to come back to Mansfield over Thanksgiving to photograph it!!
She was CERTAINLY surprised!!

I got a message from Karen on FACEBOOK – hoping that I would be available for her intimate wedding in October!
Can I confess something to you?
When I first started this business – intimate weddings were NOT what I wanted. Because successful photographers book BIG events. BIG weddings! LOTS OF HOURS! ALL THE WEDDINGS!!
Can I tell you how differently I look at them now!? Don’t get me wrong – I still love the BIG WEDDINGS – the 6 or 8 hours spending the day with you!
But I have come to really love the small weddings. The intimate ceremonies. Spending a few hours with you and the people you hold most dear on one of the most memorable days of your life!
We were really hoping to have the ceremony outside – but that WIND and the chilly temperatures kept us inside by the fire!
I dressed for the occasion – so I took a little walk with THE DRESS!
I absolutely ADORE the getting ready room at Pine Cradle Lake!!
She LOVED that dress!!
I might have a little too much fun with those reflection shots – but I JUST LOVE THE PERSPECTIVE!
