So – in case you missed it – my bestest friend had a baby.

And she’s almost five months old!!

I mean – that FACE!! LOOK AT THAT FACE!!

I HAVE LIGHT IN MY KITCHEN NOW!!! REAL LIGHT!!!

The boys love her. And she especially loves Fitzy!

Can you BELIEVE she’s almost 5 months old already!? I cannot!

I had planned on taking them to “our” property outside of town – but ALL THE RAIN!!

So we met at the bike trail instead – and it’s changed! I was SO excited to see the new and improved trail!

REAL SMILES!!

In the midst of raising kids it’s easy to forget about how it all started!! So we made sure to focus on just the two of them for a little bit!!

The last time I saw Rachel and her family – they were a family of FOUR!

He’s FIVE!!! Only a month older than my Enoch guy!

Rachel & her family drove about an hour to meet me – hoping that the weather would hold off – after rescheduling once already!

Erica and I met through the YMCA playgroup! I had posted that I was walking in the mornings and anyone who wanted to join was welcome – she did!

I lose track of all time – but I think that was 4 years ago! Unless it was 5! Erica – do you remember?

She makes our cakes for all the events in our lives – and they are DELICIOUS!!

Last year we did photos in the early spring on a nice day – but this year we opted to wait for REAL spring – and I am SO GLAD WE DID!!

I met Shalane on the interwebs somehow – FACEBOOK probably! She has always submitted a family for BEAUTIFUL and has the sweetest of souls.

They’ve been married for 15 years and she’s been on my mommas in wanting list since I’ve known her.

AND NOW – NOW they have their own little baby in their own little house!!

I’m always amazed at how teeny tiny newborns are – even though I’ve had two of my own!!

When I told Shalane that her baby shower gift was a session – she said she would LOVE an “hour in the life” session once their baby boy was home!

That might be my FAVORITE shot!!
