Vanessa & Cody really wanted some waterfall shots – and you know I am ALWAYS up for waterfall shots!

This is my cousin’s daughter. She is about the same age that my cousin was when I went to college.

So – Vanessa is forever THIS age in my head. It’s very hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that she has a daughter that age!!

Vanessa asked if we could meet at World’s End – and as much as we love creek exploring – we haven’t been there yet!

We happened to schedule our session on Vanessa’s birthday. Her 25th birthday.

Which means that I fell in love with photographing people 25 years ago.

I was 15 and I vividly remember her being born. She changed our lives.

My sister and I spent SO much time babysitting her and toting her around.

I took photography in high school and they became my first subjects! They being Vanessa and her brother Zach – who is a year younger than her!

She is one of the happiest little girls I know!!

I’ve been taking Angie & Tim’s family photos for 4 years!!

We missed a maternity session while this beautiful baby was still brewing – but I did get to see her in all her squishy new-baby glory!!

He is SUCH a great big brother!!

I had stopped at the waterfall on my way to their session to make sure it was safe. You might remember that the beginning of July was SO VERY RAINY!!

It was PERFECT!!

They are an absolute DREAM to work with!?

I still can’t believe that this waterfall is in Waverly and not Hawaii!!

We had their session on a Thursday in mid-July – and Melissa – who wasn’t due until mid-August – delivered their baby girl on MONDAY. MONDAY!!

I was SO happy we were able to schedule their session and make it happen before their daughter made her arrival!

I was SO excited when I found out she was pregnant! I immediately began thinking of what their maternity photos would look like!

We had a hard time finding a date that worked for both of us – but thankfully we found a Thursday evening that worked for both of us!
