I thought safety would be a GREAT contest to offer – but I only got about 15 submissions!

I knew exactly what photo I would have submitted. I took a photo at a wedding in August of a little girl dancing with her dad – he is holding onto her for dear life – the perfect example of SAFETY.

I was looking for SAFETY as an emotion – protection and comfort.

AUGUST WINNER – SORROW

I didn’t get the response I have been getting with my contests – but it was still VERY hard to choose!

I knew this would be a very hard one.

SORROW – as defined by webster –

1. deep distress, sadness, or regret especially for the loss of someone or something loved.

2. a cause of grief or sadness.

3. a display of grief or sadness.

That being said – it was VERY VERY hard to choose – they are all so very different but display sorrow.
