BARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY – BEAUTIFUL
Guys – 16 years!! Photography has been my full-time job for SIXTEEN years!!
I started BEAUTIFUL because I wanted to make sure that people who couldn’t otherwise purchase a photo session for themselves still get beautiful photos of their families!!
I absolutely LOVED reading your entries this year!!
I was SHOCKED to have THREE women email me about the SAME family!

You guys – I put a call out for submissions and you all sent me the most BEAUTIFUL things about the people you love!!!
It’s ALWAYS hard – but this year was SO HARD!!
Kellyrae submitted her best friend Nicky – “the amount of love they have for family and friends is out of this world.”
Nicky submitted her best friend Kellyrae – “I don’t know where I would be without them and I love them dearly so I want to see something good happen for them!”

BARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY – BEAUTIFUL
I can’t believe that I’ve been a small business owner for 13 years!!
I quit my job as a full-time secretary to pursue photography FULL-TIME in 2009!
During 2009 & 2010 – photography was certainly my FULL-TIME business!!
Then Fitzy was born in 2011 & Enoch in 2013 and raising babies became my FULL-TIME business and photography took a little bit of a back seat.
Fitzy is almost 11 and Enoch is 8 and I am SO THANKFUL that I was able to be home with them while they were little little guys. I’m STILL so thankful that I get to pick them up from school and spend my afternoons with them. I spend summers with them – and it’s my FAVORITE!!
I consider photography my full-time job even though it’s more seasonal. The past 2 years have been AMAZING with all of you!

Last year – Scott & Terri were the BEAUTIFUL winners! Well – last year was a CRAZY year for all of us – but Scott & Terri had even extra stress thrown in there – so their session slipped under the cracks.
BUT – we were FINALLY able to schedule it!
Scott and I grew up together in church. We were pretty close friends in later high school (if I remember right) and then went our separate ways like people do!
It was AWESOME to be able to gift his family with a photo session.
Before our session – they said – “we’re not picture people.”
“We’re not picture people.”
I love when people tell me they’re not “picture people.”
Because you ARE picture people.
NOT. PICTURE. PEOPLE.
Now you know – Scott & Terri ARE indeed picture people!!
I loved hanging out with you for the evening! I hope to see you again soon!!!
