Michaelia messaged me late spring about a family session in August – an extended family session!!

I’ve been taking Michaelia & Travis’s photos for TEN years – starting with their wedding!!

When I first pulled up – this little sweetie had her sunglasses on and I KNEW I had to get a few shots of that!!

TOO COOL!!

They really really wanted to showcase the lake for their session – and thankfully the sun cooperated with us for a few shots – ESPECIALLY this sister shot!!

This session was a surprise for Grandma! She REALLY REALLY wanted a photo of her grandchildren ALL together. With her. So that was our FIRST MUST-HAVE photo!

Sad faces … silly faces … mad faces … happy faces – nearly works every time!!

HUGGING PHOTOS!! I certainly LOVE these photos more than the standing in a spot and smiling for the camera photos! And I ALWAYS will!

When I met Missy for her little guy’s 6 month photos – she told me she needed to recreate a photo that she had of her older son when he was little.

And we promptly forgot during the session. So we planned a playdate and I took the shot.

Fast forward 7 years – neither of us remembered to do one at Grace’s session – until her mom mentioned it!

BUT – now that Missy is more family than new friend – it wasn’t a problem.

She stopped by one morning and we got the shot – plus a few more!!

Also – she crawls now. She just woke up and started crawling one day – and she won’t stop moving!!
