{"id":10848,"date":"2010-03-19T11:04:01","date_gmt":"2010-03-19T16:04:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bardenphotography.com\/blog\/?p=10848"},"modified":"2010-03-19T11:04:01","modified_gmt":"2010-03-19T16:04:01","slug":"jerk-chicken-nachos-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bardenphotography.com\/blog\/2010\/jerk-chicken-nachos-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"JERK CHICKEN NACHOS &#8211; RECIPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had quite a few people ask for the JERK CHICKEN NACHOS recipe!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10849\" title=\"100\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/1003.jpg\" alt=\"100\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will need the following:<\/p>\n<p>6 cups tortilla chips<\/p>\n<p>3 cups diced cooked chicken<\/p>\n<p>2 cups shredded cheese &#8211; your choice<\/p>\n<p>2 TBSP Jamaican jerk rub &#8211; I got a Caribbean rub at wal*mart in the spices!<\/p>\n<p>1 yellow or red pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 lime<\/p>\n<p>2 TBSP snipped fresh cilantro<\/p>\n<p>OPTIONAL &#8211; 1\/4 cup sour cream and 1 TSP jerk rub<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. preheat oven to 425<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. arrange tortilla chips in an overlapping pattern on the large round stone<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. in bowl &#8211; combine chicken &#8211; cheese &#8211; and 1 TBSP jerk rub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. sprinkle combo over the nachos evenly &#8211; bake 7 to 10 min until cheese is melted<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. dice the pepper &#8211; put in bowl &#8211; cut lime in half and juice over pepper cubes &#8211; add remaining jerk rub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. mince cilantro<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. slice remaining lime half into garnish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. spoon pepper mix over nachos &#8211; sprinkle with cilantro<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9.
