My sister’s wedding! I was the Matron of Honor – wedding planner – photographer – all around WE NEED THIS girl!<\/p>\n

I tend to take on too many things – I am a firm believer in “if you want it done right – DO IT YOURSELF”.<\/p>\n

Friday night was the rehearsal and the intended evening to decorate – but it rained and blew all night – we stood out in the sprinkling for the rehearsal really quick and then gathered back inside for burgers and dogs!<\/p>\n

Samm has THE WORST LUCK on the face of the planet – and she KNEW it was going to rain on her wedding day – I kept telling her it was going to be PERFECT!<\/p>\n

We woke up Saturday morning to misty, foggy, chilly weather – but NO RAIN!<\/p>\n

All day we prayed that God would keep us in a snow globe – NO RAIN – we didn’t have much sunshine – but I like shooting on cloudy days!<\/p>\n

The wedding was gorgeous – I am STILL exhausted – and I can’t wait for her TRASH THE DRESS in NYC later in October!<\/p>\n

My cousin Vanessa & I – I should mention that Aunt L was the AWESOME photog behind most of the photos that I am in!<\/p>\n

Amanda – one of Samm’s friends at work is on the far L then our cousin Heather – Samm – me – Heather’s mom LuAnn and Luann’s youngest daughter Vanessa!<\/p>\n

Samm was really nervous about her bouquet – we weren’t sure if the explanation we gave to the florist would come out the way she wanted – but it turned out so BEAUTIFUL!<\/p>\n

I really thought that “bald” guy on the L was cute!<\/p>\n

Our cousin Zach and his nephew Darrell – pretty much describes both of their moods the entire day …<\/p>\n

Mom is trying to put Samm’s cowboy boots on – which I neglected to get a picture of – even though it was on my mental checklist!<\/p>\n

Please note – this is BEFORE the wedding even began!<\/p>\n

Our brother Derek and cousin Megan performed the ceremony – it was BEAUTIFUL!<\/p>\n

Our parents are SO HAPPY that there are no more weddings to be planned!<\/p>\n

The whole family – minus Derek’s wife Jessica – she couldn’t get time off work to come up (insert sad face).<\/p>\n

Thank you Jesus for keeping us in that snow globe – it rained all around us – but not on my parents property!<\/p>\n
