I told you about this family at the end of March -

In October of 2009 I photographed Carl & Pam’s wedding – a BEAUTIFUL wedding with an amazing couple! In October of 2010 they were blessed with a baby girl – Piper! At almost a month old – Piper was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. She is doing remarkably well and has a wonderful support system! On May 21st – Pam and Carl will be participating in a CF walk with Piper’s Posse! You can read more about Piper’s story – here!

I would love to be there for Pam & Carl and their sweet baby girl – but since I cannot – I will be donating 10% of my revenue for the month of April to Piper’s Posse!

PLEASE click on the link above and give what you can to help find a cure! I also encourage you to check out Confessions of a CF Husband. When Pam first asked me to pray for Piper and her tests – I directed her to this website – which helped me understand CF. I don’t know how I came upon his blog – but have been following their story since their little girl was born!

THE CONTEST FOR MAY –

The contest for May is NEWBORNS – birth to two weeks!

The rules are still the same -

1. You must submit a photo that YOU took!

2. You can submit up to 3 photos per contest.

3. You can be an amateur or a professional.

4. You MUST submit the entry to dcbarden@gmail.com with NEWBORNS as the headline.

The contest ends May 31st!

I need at least 10 people to enter the contest – and there will be a prize for the winner!

DON’T FORGET – MINI-MINI SESSIONS!

Saturday – May 28th – from 10 am to 2 pm – at the VFW pavilion in Mansfield! There is a limit to 4 people in the photographs – although individual shots will be taken too! There is no need for an appointment – but you may have to wait to get your photos taken! You will get 15 to 20 photos in the session – they will be emailed to you via SHUTTERFLY to order online! You can get a CD of the photos to reproduce for an extra charge of $10. Actual PRINTS will not be given out. Remember that this is to benefit Nicholas and his FOURTH heart surgery this summer! There is a minimum donation of $50 – ALL PROCEEDS will benefit Nicholas and his trip to Oklahoma City!

God has such an imagination – to make every little inch of this planet – and to make it so breathtakingly beautiful!

My parents have 13 hens – and fresh eggs each morning! YUM!

My gramma has taken to feeding the hens and they follow people around all the time!

My parents have a dog named Buddy – who does NOT like Schrute!

LOOK AT THAT FACE!

Schrute doesn’t sleep well at my parents so we were up at sunrise the day before Easter – I am so glad we were!
